There are some people you come across in life, whether they’re neighbors or work colleagues, who appear to live their lives in a rather mysterious manner. But what if they weren’t that mysterious at all, but had lived such a difficult existence that it cut them off from the world?
In this video story posted by Wonderbot, a man named Taylor lived beside an older woman named Mrs. Blair for years. He tried to extend her every kindness, but it never seemed to get through to her.
She lived on her own and never let anyone come into her house. She also routinely dressed in all black, which led some kids in the area to believe she was a witch.
“Mrs. Blair hasn’t been seen for a while. Have you noticed anything from her house?” Taylor asked his other neighbor, Mrs. Callahan.
Mrs. Callahan hadn’t seen her, but she didn’t think there was any harm in Taylor checking in on her if he was so worried.
Taylor made his way to Mrs. Blair’s door and knocked several times before going in. As soon as he opened the door, he felt a shiver go down his spine. It was eerily quiet, and there appeared to be a pungent smell coming from Mrs. Blair’s bedroom.
Unfortunately, Taylor discovered Mrs. Blair’s lifeless body in her bedroom that day. The coroner later told him that she had likely been dead for several days.
Before Taylor left Mrs. Blair’s home that day, he noticed some photographs on her walls, and he even took her diary with hopes of better understanding this reclusive old woman.
