Mother Ignores Itchy Pimple On Son’s Back. When She Looks Again, Something Is Moving

Coming home from a vacation in Brazil, Bobby noticed an itchy bump on his back that was causing him some discomfort. Bobby’s mother, Susan, didn’t really think too much of it as she simply dismissed it as an average pimple that would go away on its own.

However, on their flight, Bobby continued to scratch his back and complain to his mom about the irritation he was feeling.

“I don’t want to hear anything more about that pimple,” Susan told him sternly.

When they arrived home, Bobby asked his mother if she would pop the pimple on his back. She told him that she didn’t want to do that because popping pimples at home can cause infection. Bobby was 13 years old and Susan wanted to teach him proper hygiene and skin safety while dealing with hormonal acne during puberty.

However, she did think that it was probably best to put something on the pimple to help with the irritation and redness. She put a little ointment on the pimple and told Bobby that it would likely feel better in the morning.

In the early morning hours, Bobby anxiously appeared in Susan’s bedroom. He woke up his mom to tell her that he didn’t think what was on his back was a pimple.

Susan told Bobby that if it was that bad, she would make him a dermatology appointment. Since her son was so frantic, she decided to see if whatever was on his back would pop.

When she started to put some pressure on the bump, she saw something move from inside. At that moment, Susan knew this was something much more serious and she needed to take her son to the emergency room.
