Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s unique story has captivated true-crime enthusiasts for nearly a decade. Between the Hulu series The Act, the HBO documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, and the Lifetime reality show Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, the Munchausen syndrome by proxy case is darkly fascinating. However, pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently announced she will no longer share “personal updates” and wants a “more private” life.
In 2016, Gypsy Rose was sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She was released in December 2023 after serving seven years. Not long afterward, Gypsy Rose split with her husband, Ryan Anderson, and got back with her ex, Ken Urker, with whom she is expecting a baby girl.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced she will no longer post 'personal' updates.
On November 15, Gypsy Rose took to her TikTok account with an announcement: “I will no longer be posting personal content on this public platform.”
“Since I was released, I have shared with supporters my hardships and achievements through the lens of social media,” she explained. “However, I find myself at a crossroads that leads me to desire a more private life sharing with only family and close friends these special moments.”
Blanchard then shared her appreciation of those who have supported her along the way and noted that she will still be “posting updates on my new memoir My Time To Stand,” as well as future seasons of her Lifetime docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup.
Instead, she will have a private account for those who personally know her.
In her message, Gypsy Rose noted that moving forward, she “will only accept requests from those I personally know.”
She continued, “This decision was made with consideration to the well-being of my own mental health that as well as the overall wellbeing of my family and daughter. “We are all doing very well and are in good spirits, excited for our futures moving forward. Thank you.”
Gypsy revealed in July that she was pregnant with her first child.
Gypsy Rose announced her first pregnancy in a YouTube video published on July 9. Additionally, she shared clips from the announcement on Instagram.
“I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025,” she revealed. “We’re both very excited. This was not planned at all. It was completely unexpected.”

In August, she posted a gender reveal video.
On August 10, Gypsy Rose took to Instagram to share a gender reveal video with her followers. “Baby, I’m your mom,” Gypsy Rose said in the clip. “And I’m your dad,” Ken added, to which the mom-to-be continued, “and you are … a girl!” the expecting parents exclaimed.
Gypsy also recently confirmed her baby's paternity.
Because of the timing of Gypsy Rose’s breakup with Ryan and rekindling her romance with Ken, she confirmed the father of her baby with a paternity test amid her divorce.
“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest,” she captioned a November 5 Instagram video, per USA Today. “Here are the results showing Ken is the father. Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.”
