Prince William and Kate Middleton recently visited the Hayes Muslim Centre in London to bring continued awareness to the earthquakes that have devastated Turkey and Syria in recent months.
The pair attracted a lot of attention for their visit, but some of it might not be for the best reasons.
While King Charles and Camilla donated to the UK Disasters Emergency Committee's (DEC) Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal the day of the first earthquake, there has not been a similar announcement of any donations from William and Kate.
William and Kate spent much of their visit learning to fold origami cranes at the center. The center itself has raised nearly $30,000 on its own.
