Cheryl Hines Gets Interrupted While Promoting Her Beauty Line With Husband RFK Jr. Showering On Camera

Like many business owners, Cheryl Hines has been busy promoting her brand’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts. Her approach, however, has been pretty unconventional. On Friday, November 29, 2024, the Curb Your Enthusiasm actress shared a video to her Instagram Stories. In the video, she introduced some Hines + Young products as her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., showered in the background.

In the video shared to Cheryl’s Instagram Stories, she spoke to RFK Jr., who was naked in the shower behind her. “No, you can’t take a shower!” she said as RFK Jr. seemingly washed his hair in the background. “I’m doing a video. No, no, no, you’ve gotta give me a second. I’m doing a video for Hines + Young.”

She wrote “H+Y Content Interruption” and “Oh Bobby” with several emojis, including a heart and the flushed face emoji, over the video.

Reactions to the video were mixed. Commenting on the clip, which was later shared by journalist Yashar Ali on X, some people thought the video was “strange,” “repulsive,” and “cringe.” Others, however, praised the promotion, calling it “hilarious” and “adorable.”

The controversial video comes at a time when rumors about Cheryl and Bobby’s marriage have been circulating. Cheryl and RFK Jr. have been married since 2014. In September, New York magazine placed its Washington correspondent Olivia Nuzzi on leave due to an alleged “personal relationship” with RFK Jr.

After news of the alleged affair broke, a source told People that Cheryl was “ready to file for divorce weeks ago.” Another source told the publication that “Cheryl was livid over the reports that her husband was involved in any way with the political reporter.”

Despite the Olivia Nuzzi scandal, Cheryl has been “going with the flow” and being a “supportive wife,” sources told the publication.

Based on her Black Friday videos, this appears to be true, as Cheryl also promoted a “MAHA Make America Healthy Again” candle in her video. In August, RFK Jr. told TMZ Live (via The Hill) that Cheryl is not a Donald Trump supporter.

When he made the decision to suspend his independent campaign for president and endorse Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, his wife was not very “encouraging,” Bobby said at the time.

“She is a lifelong Democrat, and the idea of me supporting Donald Trump was, like I said — it was something she would have never imagined, something that she never wanted in her life,” RFK Jr. said of his wife. He added that he was “very grateful to her for giving me support.”

Cheryl shared a supportive statement after RFK Jr. announced his decision. “I deeply respect the decision Bobby made to run on the principle of unity. Over the last year and a half, I have met some extraordinary people from all parties — Democrats, Republicans and independents,” she said in a statement, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

Now, RFK Jr. has been nominated by the president-elect to be the next secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. While Cheryl is reportedly not a Trump supporter, she has been “making the best of” her husband’s political pursuits because “she loves Bobby,” per People.
