Actress Robyn Bernard, known for her 1980s turn as Terry Brock on General Hospital, has died at the age of 64.

Bernard’s body was discovered early on March 12 at around 4 a.m., the Riverside County Coroner confirmed in a statement to New York Daily News on Wednesday.

She was found in an “open field” behind a business in San Jacinto, California, the coroner’s office said, adding that while an autopsy and toxicology tests were pending, “foul play was not suspected.”

Bernard was identified via fingerprints, the coroner told TMZ, which first reported the actress’s death.

Born in Gladewater, Texas, Bernard appeared first on television in Diva, The Facts of Life, Simon & Simon, and others series before being cast in General Hospital in 1984. She played Terry Brock in 145 episodes until 1990, when the character was first framed for murder then targeted herself, according to TVLine.

Bernard was the older sister of actress Crystal Bernard, known for her star turn in the sitcom Wings from 1990 to 1997.

Though she was long since retired from acting, Robyn Bernard was still present in the minds and hearts of General Hospital fans, who paid tribute in a flood of social media posts on March 13 as news of her death became public.

Her passing comes not long after that of another General Hospital star, Tyler Christopher, who died suddenly in October at age 50 after a “cardiac event.”
