Rudy Giuliani Is Accused Of Sexual Assault And Wage Theft In $10 Million Lawsuit

Noelle Dunphy filed a complaint against former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Monday, May 15, 2023. This former employee is seeking $10 million in damages. She accuses Giuliani of sexual assault and wage theft.

Giuliani vehemently denies her claims. Court documents paint a dark picture of an employee who was expected to perform sexual favors as part of her job description. Dunphy also claims to have never been compensated for her work from 2019 to 2021 as an off-the-books business development director and public relations consultant.

Dunphy was hired at the rate of $1 million a year. She was told her role was being kept a secret and her pay deferred because of Giuliani’s messy divorce. A darker truth soon became allegedly apparent to Dunphy.

"Unfortunately, Giuliani’s seemingly generous offers were a sham motivated by his secret desire to pursue a sexual relationship with Ms. Dunphy – in total disregard for the restraint that should have protected her as his employee and client," the lawsuit claims.

On the first day Dunphy was on the job, Giuliani kissed her and asked for “some flirtatious photos.” Things escalated from there. He allegedly forced her to perform both penetrative and oral sex. He especially enjoyed oral sex while on phone calls because it made him “feel like Bill Clinton.”

It appears as if Dunphy has proof of Giuliani making horrible statements. "In addition to his sexual demands, Giuliani went on alcohol-drenched rants that included sexist, racist, and antisemitic remarks, which made the work environment unbearable," the lawsuit alleges. "Many of these comments were recorded."

Giuliani’s adviser Ted Goodman “unequivocally denies the allegations raised by Ms. Dunphy.” He also wanted to make sure “every news outlet covering this story must include the fact that an ex-partner accused her” of targeting wealthy men for monetary gain. “Mayor Giuliani's lifetime of public service speaks for itself and he will pursue all available remedies and counterclaims,” Goodman concluded.
