Victoria Jackson, who was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 1986 to 1992, says her cancer has returned and she might have less than three years to live. In 2016, she spoke up about her breast cancer diagnosis for the first time. Now, the 65-year-old actress and comedian has revealed that she an inoperable tumor. Because the tumor can't be removed, she's taking a "magic pill" instead. When she Googled the pill, she discovered that "it says people who take this have 32.6 months to live. Something like that."
In an Instagram video, she shared the news with her followers. "They cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe, and eventually would suffocate me to death,” she said in the video.
She then explained the form of treatment that she's trying. "They’re giving me a magic pill. It’s going to be delivered to my front door within the next 12 hours," she said. "It’s based on Ribociclib, and it will shrink the marble, hopefully."
After learning about the treatment she would be trying, Victoria decided to Google her prognosis. Based on what she found online, she thinks she has less than three years to live. Reading this made her think about what she would change and what she wants to do prior to the end of her life.
She's generally satisfied with how her life has turned out, telling her followers that she has had "a fantastic life," but there is at least one thing that she still wants to do before she dies.

At the end of her video, she spoke about how everyone is dying, but seeing how much time you have left in writing feels different.
"It makes you think," she said, but reflecting on her own life so far, she said she "wouldn't change anything."
"Cancer Update: I have 34.8 months to live if I don’t get hit by a meteor, shot by a MAGA hater, get Covid again or WWIII breaks out," she captioned the post.
In an August 1 video shared on Instagram, Victoria appeared to be looking at a pathology report. When looking through it, she read, "malignant cells present." "I think that means cancer," she said.
The caption on her post appeared to confirm it. "It’s cancer! Back from 9 years ago!" she wrote.
On August 13, 2024, Victoria shared a video she recorded before getting a CT scan and said that she "looks at [her] life as a musical."
"CT scan to see if breast cancer cells have spread. In a musical, I would now burst out in song and start tap dancing on the CT machine!" she captioned the post.
