We're learning more about the tragic death of Stephen "tWitch" Boss. As family and friends mourn the beloved DJ's death, law enforcement is revealing details about what led up to his suicide.
According to a new report, Boss left a suicide note alluding to his past struggles.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the DJ left the note in his Los Angeles motel room. That's where he set his phone to airplane mode and was found with a single gunshot wound to his head.
The star reportedly took an Uber to the Oak Tree Inn motel before taking his own life. When his wife, Allison Holker, was unable to reach him and realized he left home without his car, she knew something was terribly wrong. Holker frantically told police she couldn't locate him. Boss' body was found on Tuesday by a worker at the motel who entered the room after he didn't check out.
While specifics of the DJ's note were not revealed, TMZ reported that Boss referred to something in his past that he was still struggling with. He didn't reveal exactly what the struggle was.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner confirmed the cause of death as suicide, and the case had been officially closed.
