Susan Lucci Shares The Diet That Has Kept Her Happy And Healthy Throughout The Years

Susan Lucci has been an iconic soap actress star for over 40 years. She is best known for her role as Erica Kane on All My Children. The 75-year-old actress invited Bazaar into her home to share the food habits that have kept her so healthy throughout the years.

If you look at Susan Lucci, she looks a lot younger than 75. She sticks to a healthy diet and daily Pilates routine to keep her health up and her body active.

Susan explains that the first thing she does in the morning when she comes down to the kitchen is put on a pot of coffee. Stars, they are just like us! She then uses two small spoonfuls of organic sugar and some whole milk to complete her morning cup of coffee.

Usually on a normal day, before she has breakfast, Susan puts the coffee on and completes her morning workout. She works out every single day for about 25 to 30 minutes.

After her workout, Susan makes her breakfast. She claims when she has time in the morning, she has Greek yogurt. Her favorite way to eat her yogurt is with pumpkin seeds and lingonberries. On her cheat days, she likes to eat eggs with blueberry pancakes. She claims if she's going to have a cheat day, she is going to make it count.

For lunch, Susan starts with organic beefsteak tomatoes, which she uses as a substitute for bread, and adds slices of fresh roasted turkey. Then she adds avocado slices and drizzles champagne vinegar and olive oil on top.

For her dinner, Susan brings in her personal chef (her husband) to show us what he usually cooks for her. He chooses one of his personal favorites, which contains Bibb lettuce, apples, cucumbers, endives, and radishes for the salad, and then for the entrée, king salmon, steamed broccoli, and carrots. For the salad, he throws in some salt and pepper, then uses only vinegar and olive oil for the dressing.

If I had someone to cook delicious meals like this for me every day, I feel like I would eat a lot healthier!
