Man Slips Phone Under Shopper’s Skirt At Target & Woman Fearlessly Confronts Him On Camera

In a brave and commendable act, shoppers at a Target store in Greenville, North Carolina, confronted an alleged peeping Tom who was accused of slipping his phone beneath a woman’s skirt. The incident, which unfolded in a typically peaceful shopping environment, quickly escalated as the suspect, 21-year-old Thomas Elliot, faced accusations from vigilant shoppers.

Elliot, who claimed he was at the store to shop for children’s books for his pregnant sister, was arrested and charged with five counts of felony secret peeping. Despite his denials, the swift actions of the shoppers played a crucial role in bringing attention to his alleged misconduct.

The confrontation was recorded by one of the women involved. In the video, she can be heard directly challenging Elliot, saying, "Excuse me, what are you doing? No, I just saw you put that underneath her dress." Elliot responded nervously, denying the accusation with, "No, ma'am. I really wasn't."

The woman who was the target of the alleged peeping also confronted him, stating, "You've been extremely close to me this whole time. Please show me your phone." Elliot continued to defend himself, insisting, "I really promise I wasn't trying to do anything inappropriate. I wasn't. I really wasn't. I'm not like that." Despite his protestations, the women stood firm in their accusations, leading to his arrest by local police.

Elliot's arrest has had significant repercussions for his personal and professional life. He was known as a volunteer at a local church and an elementary school, both of which have since severed ties with him in light of the allegations.
