All The World’s A Stage: The 10 Most Theatrical Looks From The 2024 Tony Awards

All the stars came out for the theater's biggest night. The 77th Tony Awards took place on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City. This year’s awards ceremony happened to fall on Father’s Day.

Attendees of the big night looked dapper in their evening gowns and tuxedos. The 10 people on this list went all out. They put on their Sunday clothes, which is enough to make Dolly Levi proud.

Kara Young

Kara Young glowed in a green Bibhu Mohapatra dress. It featured dramatic billowing sleeves. Kara not only looked beautiful on Tony night, she also won the award for best featured actress in a play for her work in Purlie Victorious. Third time is a charm.

Ariana DeBose

The hostess with the mostest, Ariana DeBose, looked stunning in a yellow and lavender Oscar de la Renta dress. It featured small blocks of color similar to a mosaic. This was Ariana's third consecutive year as emcee for the the big event.

Daniel Radcliffe

Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, looked magical in a lavender suit designed by Todd Snyder. The new dad was styled by Sam Spector. Beyond looking dapper, he took home the best featured actor in a musical for his work in the revival of Merrily We Roll Along.

Cynthia Erivo looked wicked in a sparkling gold Louis Vuitton gown. It was strapless and featured a dramatic train. She accessorized with Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Onlookers were changed for good by her presence.

Movie star Angelina Jolie attended the Tonys because she worked as a producer on the new hit musical The Outsiders, based on the book by S.E. Hinton. She looked stunning, as usual, in a teal Versace gown. She even coordinated her look with daughter Vivienne Jolie, who also worked on the project.

Jonathan Groff's Merrily costar Daniel Radcliffe threatened to burn the theater down if he didn't win the award for best actor in a musical. Thankfully, Daniel didn't have to resort to a life of crime as Jonathan took home the award. He looked handsome while doing so in Loro Piana.

Jeremy Strong and Jonathan Groff had the same idea. Both wore Loro Piana ensembles and took home Tony Awards. Jeremy won for his work in the classic Ibsen play An Enemy of the People. He also complemented his tux with cool ribbon tie.

Billy Porter sparkled in Robert Wun. He sported a smokey eye to go with his dramatic ensemble. At the Tony Awards: Act One pre-show ceremony Billy was presented with the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award, which he dedicated to his mother.
