Tori Spelling Hospitalized With 4 Of Her Children After Car Crash

A popular television star has been hospitalized, along with four of her children, after a car crash. Tori Spelling was taken to a hospital in California after a car she was driving was involved in a serious crash, according to TMZ. Law enforcement said two cars with collision damage were found at the scene in Temecula, California, around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office told People magazine that seven children were in Spelling’s vehicle when it was allegedly hit by another car that was said to be speeding and ran a red light. The passengers included four of Spelling’s kids and three of their friends.

No arrests have been made, according to People.

TMZ reports Spelling managed to avoid serious injury by maneuvering the vehicle largely out of the way just before impact. She and all seven children were taken to the hospital to treat injuries including cuts, contusions and concussions.

It’s unclear which of Spelling’s five children were in the car at the time. The 52-year-old actress is a mother to Liam, 19, Stella, 17, Beau, 9, Hattie, 14, and Finn, 13.

Spelling shares the children with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, who has two adult children, Lola and Jack, from a previous relationship. The former couple split in 2023 after 17 years of marriage and finalized their divorce last year.

According to Page Six, Spelling was previously involved in a car accident in 2011 while pregnant with her third child. Spelling said she was being chased by paparazzi when she hit a wall while driving her two eldest children to school; no injuries were reported.

Spelling is an actress best known for playing Donna Martin on the ‘90s TV series Beverly Hills, 90210. The show was produced by her father, Aaron Spelling, whose credits also included The Love Boat, Charlie’s Angels, Melrose Place, 7th Heaven, Hart to Hart, Dynasty and Charmed.
