Donald Trump Seems To Admit He Watched Bad Bunny Halftime Show Instead Of Alternative Show

In response to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance, President Donald Trump took to social media to assert that he hated it. But wait, does that mean he chose to watch Bad Bunny instead of Kid Rock? Considering how much conservatives complained about the halftime performer leading up to the event, it felt fairly safe to assume that they would tune in for Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show” instead. After Kid Rock was revealed to be the headliner for the alternative show, people immediately started making jokes about Republicans pretending to enjoy his music. Lots of people online questioned how they could dislike Bad Bunny so much that they would willingly subject themselves to a Kid Rock performance.

But maybe Trump actually couldn’t.

Did Trump have anything positive to say about Bad Bunny’s halftime performance? Nope. But his Truth Social post suggests that he did watch it. So, people can only assume that even he didn’t want to sit through Kid Rock’s performance, which is honestly pretty funny. In his rant about the Super Bowl, Trump called the halftime show “absolutely terrible” and “one of the worst, EVER!”

But on social media, people took it to mean that it was still better than watching Kid Rock. One person who shared a screenshot of Trump’s rant on X wrote, “Trump watched the Bad Bunny halftime show! Sorry Kid Rock! 😂”

Because if it was really so terrible, why did he keep watching it when TPUSA organized a whole alternative show with top MAGA talent? “Sir, if you’d just like to change the channel,” one critic on X suggested. “Turning point USA has organized a concert for you.”

Lots of people came to the same hilarious conclusion: “Turns out not even Trump watched the Kid Rock trash half-time show.”

Still, people found Trump’s comments “petty and embarrassing.”

Several critics pointed out that Trump didn’t attend the Super Bowl this year, and yet still felt it was important to share his long-winded review of Bad Bunny’s performance on social media. One critic called it “jobless” behavior, because how does the president have time to “yap about everything” like this? Another person questioned, “So he reviews entertainment shows now?”

After reading his review, some people are convinced he did actually watch Kid Rock’s performance.

Presumably, when Trump wrote in his post that, “Nobody understands a word this guy is saying,” he was complaining about Bad Bunny performing in Spanish (and also ignoring the fact that millions of people in the United States speak Spanish). But Trump’s description of the halftime performance made some people think he was actually describing Kid Rock’s performance, not Bad Bunny’s.

In his rant, he wrote, “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!” OK, are we sure this is actually about Bad Bunny?

After reading this review, some people made jokes like, “I think he was actually posting about Kid Rock.”
