People are once again questioning President Donald Trump’s priorities (and wondering when he’ll stop comparing himself to Former President Joe Biden). Amid the Iran war, Trump visited Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate on Monday, March 23. He was in Memphis for a roundtable event about the Memphis Safe Task Force.
During his Graceland tour, he talked about his love for Elvis, talked about whether he could have “taken him in a fight,” and signed a replica of a guitar Elvis had used.
He made a big display of signing the guitar.
Which maybe isn’t that surprising, given that he appears to love signing things and having an audience when he does. But he also tried to claim that signing the guitar is something that Biden wouldn’t have been able to do. OK.
In a video circulating on social media, Trump asks for a piece of paper so he can test the marker before signing the guitar. Before signing it, he asks everyone around him if they’re ready for him to start. Because it’s a process that requires an audience, apparently. Once he’s done, he admires his own signature, saying, “Oh, that came out good!” and holding up the guitar.
“You never know,” he says. “These are hard to sign. That came out pretty good.” When asked if it’s the first guitar he’s ever signed, Trump answers, “Just about,” before adding, “Now, Biden couldn’t do this.” Journalist Aaron Rupar shared the clip on social media and captioned it with, “our president at wartime, folks.”
People immediately noticed that he’s still thinking about Biden all the time.

Because why is he thinking about the former president while touring Graceland and signing a guitar? Doesn’t he have other things to worry about? “Wow! PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN lives rent-free in his head,” one person commented on the clip. His ability to bring up Biden regardless of what’s going on is almost impressive, really. “Everything comes back to Biden for this guy,” someone else noticed. “How do you manage to bring up Biden when signing a guitar?”
But to be fair, he almost didn’t mention Biden at all, which might’ve been a new achievement for him. “OMG. He almost got through this idiocy without ridiculing President Biden,” someone else joked.
People couldn’t actually figure out why Trump seemed so proud about signing his own name. Someone commented, “‘Biden couldn’t do that’. Sign his name?” And another person sarcastically wrote, “Wow, so impressive! He knows how to sign his name…”
Some Trump critics joined in on comparing Trump and Biden, but not in a way that Trump would appreciate. “The reality is that Biden wouldn’t think of doing something like this,” another critic argued. “This is what Trump spends his time doing after starting a war in Iran.” As someone else put it, Trump seems to be “living his best life, trashing Biden every chance he gets with every waking breath, while the world is on fire.”
It might be even more ridiculous than the time he said he walks slowly because of Biden.

Trump makes weird comments about Biden on a regular basis, even though he’s more than a year into his second term at this point. During an appearance on The Dan Bongino Show, Trump explained that he walks up and down the stairs slowly and carefully, and somehow, that’s all Biden’s fault.
“We were laughed at a year and a half ago. We were laughed at as being stupid people. We were laughed at…we see a guy falling up the stairs going into an airplane,” Trump said, adding that he’s “very careful” now because he doesn’t want the same thing to happen to him.
He also managed to insult Former President Barack Obama as well, saying that he never fell down the stairs but also “didn’t look elegant at all.” Trump said, “He bopped down the stairs. He would be in the middle. I thought it looked so terrible, you know? This is the president of the United States. He’s bopping down, you know, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop. And I kept waiting for him to fall and he didn’t.”
