President Donald Trump will not let anyone forget that he’s “aced” multiple cognitive tests, even though people have repeatedly said that’s not exactly the flex he thinks it is. Seemingly unprompted, he recently took to Truth Social to brag that he has taken these cognitive assessments three times and “ACED IT ALL THREE TIMES.” He also noted that this has “rarely been done before,” and, uh, people don’t think he should be so proud of that fact.
It’s definitely not the first time Trump has bragged about his cognitive test results, but he took it a step further this time and insisted that all presidents and vice presidents should take them.
He suggested that these tests would be challenging for Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

In his his recent Truth Social post, he wrote, “Anybody running for President or Vice President should be forced to take a Cognitive Examination prior to entering the Race! By doing so, we wouldn’t be surprised at people like Barack ‘Hussein’ Obama, or Sleepy Joe Biden, getting ‘ELECTED.'”
According to him, this requirement would make the United States a “much better place.” It seems that Truth has not seen all the posts mocking him for bragging about his cognitive tests. After all, the tests he’s bragged about “acing” do not measure intelligence. They’re actually meant to assess for cognitive impairment.
Previously, he revealed that he was asked to identify animals.
“The first question is like, ‘What is this?'” Trump said during a speech in December 2025. “And they show a lion, a giraffe, a fish, and a hippopotamus. And they say, ‘Which is the giraffe?'” According to him, the test “gets harder” after that question. He said it’s actually “not easy.”
However, when bragging about his ability to identify a giraffe, he insisted that Biden wouldn’t have been able to do the same. “I don’t think Joe would have gotten the first question right,” he said. “He would say hippo.”
In his recent post, he acted like taking the tests was a major achievement.
At this point, it’s probably safe to assume that a lot of people already know about Trump’s cognitive tests, whether they wanted to know or not. But, still, just in case anyone had forgotten, he emphasized that he’s taken the test several times at this point. He wrote, “I took the Exam three times during my (‘THREE!’) Terms as President, and ACED IT ALL THREE TIMES — An Achievement that, even on a single Exam, according to the Doctors, has rarely been done before!”
The Truth Social post has made its way to Reddit, where people were… definitely not impressed.

Trump critics cannot believe that he’s still trying to act like this is a major accomplishment.
“He thinks a flex that doctors are concerned about his cognitive function and that he aced a test that is essentially the children menu placement at Texas roadhouse,” one critic argued. Someone else wrote, “The sheer level of confidence required to boast about passing a test that asks you to draw a clock and recognize a rhino is truly unmatched.”
Besides, has no one told him what these tests are actually testing for? “Part of the test should be asking what the test is actually testing for,” one critic commented. Another Redditor added, “It’s so funny/insane/pathetic that nobody around him has the guts to explain to him what a cognitive test is.”
But maybe they have! It wouldn’t necessarily stop him from acting like it’s an achievement. “This literally must be the only test he has ever passed,” someone speculated. “He cannot stop bragging about it because he has never experienced that type of success.”
