What to Know
People have been concerned about President Donald Trump’s health for a variety of reasons. For one, there’s the hand bruising (and makeup) that Trump has tried to say is caused by taking Aspirin. Then, there’s the fact that people have spotted him falling asleep during important meetings (he’s claimed he’s just relaxing with his eyes closed). And, of course, there are all of the concerning speeches he’s given recently. Because Trump has had a tendency to say outlandish things for years now, the weird comments he makes and the tangents he goes off on might just seem like his ordinary personality to some people.
However, many have argued that Trump’s speeches are becoming more and more uninhibited (and making even less sense), leading them to wonder whether it could be a sign of dementia.
A doctor sounded the alarm after Trump’s unhinged Easter rant.
When Trump threatened Iran on Easter Sunday, many people found it concerning. They saw his Truth Social post as evidence that Trump has truly “lost it.” In the post, Trump wrote, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F—–’ Strait, you crazy b——-, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”
It’s definitely not the first time Trump has shared an unhinged and weirdly aggressive Easter post (for some reason), but this one came across as particularly unsettling to people.
After Trump shared the expletive-laden post, Dr. Vin Gupta, a medical analyst for MS NOW, shared why he believes Trump is showing signs of dementia.
The doctor claimed that Trump’s apparent symptoms are “developing and worsening gradually over time.”
Erratic.

Can’t finish sentences.
Often confused.
Illogical train of thought.
Word finding difficulties.
Developing and worsening gradually over time.
The President is exhibiting all the signs of dementia.
He does not have access to Trump’s medical records, but like many others, has been observing the changes in Trump’s behavior over time. In an X post shared on April 5, Dr. Gupta wrote, “Erratic. Can’t finish sentences. Often confused. Illogical train of thought. Word finding difficulties. Developing and worsening gradually over time. The President is exhibiting all the signs of dementia.”
It’s not the first time Dr. Gupta has made comments about Trump’s apparent cognitive decline. Previously, he mentioned how Trump tends to cover a myriad of topics in every speech, often going off on seemingly random tangents. “The fact that he has inattention, he loses his train of thought,” Dr. Gupta said, per The Daily Beast. “Everybody is describing these speeches as meandering, covering 30 different topics in the course of, say, 2 minutes.”
He also acknowledged that Trump might seem like someone who has always acted this way. And yet, he still thinks something has shifted. “The acting out, behavior changes, lashing out, acting unreasonable,” he mentioned. “One could say this is his core fundamental personality based on what we’ve seen over, frankly, his entire adult life, but it’s getting worse.”
Trump has dismissed people’s concerns.
Is, lies and more lies. We have eyes and see this is definitely not true.

In fact, in addition to bragging about the cognitive tests that he has “aced,” Trump has taken to telling stories about how healthy he believes he is. Recently, he spoke about how disgraced White House physician Ronny Jackson said he was the “healthiest” U.S. president in recent history.
“The press asked him, ‘Who was the healthiest of the three?’” Trump said. “…He took a lot of heat for this. Most guys would say, ‘Well, we don’t want to talk about that.’ They said, ‘Who’s the healthiest of the three?’ He said, ‘President Donald J. Trump, by far. If he didn’t eat junk food, he’d live to 200 years old,’ he said.” Understandably, people were not so convinced.
