Trump Jr. Rages At Golden Globes Celebrities For Wearing 2-Word ICE Protest Pins

Donald Trump Jr. attacked the celebrities who donned pins protesting Immigration and Customs Enforcement at Sunday’s Golden Globes. “These clowns are just upset that my father closed Biden’s open border so millions of illegals can no longer flood into our nation,” Trump Jr. said Monday in a post on X.

Mark RuffaloAriana GrandeWanda Sykes, Natasha Lyonne and Jean Smart were among the stars wearing black-and-white pins that read “BE GOOD” and “ICE OUT” from the #BeGood campaign organized by the American Civil Liberties Union, Maremoto, Move On, National Domestic Workers Alliance, and Working Families Power.

The pins were designed as a tribute to Renée Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis last week, and Keith Porter, who was fatally shot by an off-duty ICE agent in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.

“The #BeGood campaign aims to honor Renée Macklin Good and Keith Porter while also reminding us what it means to be good to one another in the face of such horror—to be a good citizen, neighbor, friend, ally and human,” the ACLU said in a statement.

When asked about the pin a red-carpet interview with USA Today, Ruffalo called President Donald Trump “the worst human being” and condemned ICE’s increased presence in U.S. cities for stoking tensions.

“This is for Renee Nicole Good, who was murdered,” Ruffalo told USA Today, referring to his “BE GOOD” pin. “This is for the people in the United States who are terrorized and scared today. I know I’m one of them. I love this country. And what I’m seeing here happening is not America.”

Sykes gave a similarly forceful rebuke of the Trump administration prior to the Golden Globes.

“This is for the mother who was murdered by an ICE agent, and it’s really sad. I know people are out marching and all today, and we need to speak up,” Sykes told Variety. “We need to be out there and shut this rogue government down, because it’s just awful what they’re doing to people.”

While Ruffalo and Sykes took aim at Trump on the red carpet, hundreds of protests took place across the country over the weekend.

The unrest has at times put demonstrators on a collision course with law enforcement as Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem vows to send more federal agents into Minneapolis and other cities where protests have taken place.

“There will be hundreds more (agents), in order to allow our ICE and our Border Patrol individuals that are working in Minneapolis to do so safely,” Noem told Fox News.
