What would you do if you happened to leisurely glance out into your backyard only to spot a peculiar-looking creature that you couldn’t quite identify? Quickly grab your phone to snap a photo and post it to social media, of course.
KENS 5 San Antonio reports that images taken of a strange-looking animal perplexed residents of Hill Country Village in Bexar County, Texas when Tina Kahlig took to social media to ask those on her feed if they could help identify what kind of creature was lurking in her yard.
“I was inside and I looked out into the yard … and I saw this animal and I thought, ‘Wow, what is that?’” Tina recalls.
Even though her post blew up on social media with both educated and wild guesses, most experts have been stumped to put a name to what they see in the two photos she was able to capture before the animal promptly left her yard. Some guessed a bobcat or mountain lion while others thought the creature was more in the wolf or dog family.
Tina told the news outlet that the creature seemed to have a bit of a sweet tooth as it grabbed some berries on the ground from a nearby bush before taking off.
