Vanna White might not be completely satisfied with Pat Sajak's replacement, a source claims. Though the next season of Wheel of Fortune hasn't premiered yet, filming has started, and a source told the Daily Mail that Vanna, 67, feels that "it is just so difficult to do this without Pat."
Part of the problem is that Vanna doesn't seem to connect with Pat's replacement, Ryan Seacrest, 49, in the same way that she connected with Pat, the insider told the Daily Mail.
Of course, this isn't exactly surprising, as Vanna and Pat worked alongside each other for 41 years and experienced many "memories, milestones and life events" together over the years, as she said in her farewell message for Pat.
In her farewell video, Vanna called Pat "a true lifelong friend."
"[Vanna] just doesn't jibe with Ryan like she did with Pat, and no one really ever expected her to. There is just no way that she possibly could," the insider told the Daily Mail.
What does this mean for the future of the show? The insider claims that "there is a part of her that wants to walk away sooner," even though "she wants the show to continue."

"She knows that the show needs to go in a different direction and appeal to a younger demographic," the insider told the outlet, adding that "this will require a younger female host, someone who can be to Ryan what she was to Pat."
