It is an honor to be asked to be a part of someone’s wedding. It is also a big time and financial commitment. Weddings can also show the worst sides of humanity because of their stressful nature. One woman took to TikTok to share her awful experiences as a bridesmaid for her former friend, who turned out to be a bridezilla. The bride hated photos of her big day and blamed her bridesmaid.

Casey Costa, a content creator and reality television star from season one of The Big D, shared her story to her 867,000 followers on TikTok. The story was told over multiple posts that quickly went viral. Her first video has been viewed over 280,000 times.
Casey is known for telling it like it is on TikTok. She does not hold back. She started telling a story about her “[expletive]” friend, and her followers begged her for more information. “When Cruella de Vil was getting married…” was her version of once upon a time.
According to Casey, this unnamed bride only wanted her bridesmaids to be blond, so she asked Casey and her sorority sisters from college. Casey adds, “She is not friends with a single person from that bridal party today. Common denominator? I think so.”
The bride completely lost it when she received her photos from her wedding day. She was mad that Casey was so short. Casey recalls, “The best part is that when she received her final wedding photos, she texted me, furious. So angry with me that I ruined her wedding photos because I am tiny.”
Casey was at a loss. She tells her followers, “I am short, I am only 4-foot-10.” Bridezilla continued to text her and curse her out.
Casey recalls, “She was like, 'I can’t even [expletive] use these! You’re so [expletive] short! I can’t even [expletive] post these!' Casey tried to problem-solve, saying, “I was like, 'Crop me out.'”
It turns out, though, there is another reason the photos are no longer usable that has nothing to do with Casey’s height. Bridezilla and her husband ended up getting a divorce. This is not surprising, given Casey’s account of her friend’s horrible attitude.
The bridezilla committed other horrible acts besides blaming Casey for ruining her photos. She set up Casey to appear to be stealing the microphone and making a speech. In reality, Casey says the bride asked her to prepare and give a speech.
Beyond the wedding, this bride was just not a good friend, according to Casey. Casey asked her viewers, “Have you ever had a really [expletive] friend where they would find pretty much every opportunity to like diss you or make you feel like [expletive]?”
This friend would condescendingly offer to pay for dinner because she knew she made “a lot more money” than Casey. Her bad-friend crimes did not stop there. She also compared their engagement rings to point out hers was bigger.
This friendship ultimately ended when Casey found out her friend was sleeping with the guy Casey was dating. It appears Casey is much better off without this toxic friend in her life. She probably should have ended the friendship after the wedding photo incident.
