Meirivone Rocha Moraes, a 37-year-old woman from Brazil, married a life-sized ragdoll named Marcelo. The couple went on to start a family. They are now proud parents to three rag doll children, a 1-year-old son named Marcelinho and newborn twin daughters Marcela and Emilia.
Family life is complicated according to Meirivone. She often shares updates on her TikTok account, @meirivoneemarcelo. Meirivone and Marcelo split parenting duties equally. Marcelo worries about the family’s finances.
Life with kids, even when they are dolls, can be difficult. “It's not easy but at the same time, I get emotional every moment, every second. In everyday life, Marcelo and I have a lot of tasks with the new babies, as well as looking after our first child. And even when I'm tired, he helps me bathe, eat and sleep,” Meirivone explained.
Even though Marcelo worries, it is all worth it. “Despite his concerns, he always dreamed of having a family and children, so this is all he ever wished for,” Meirivone added.
Looking ahead, Meirivone has her eyes set on home ownership. “My dream now is to own my own house,” she explained. “Since our wedding in 2018, I've been scouring the internet every day. I won't give up.”

Beyond its unconventional nature, Meirivone and Marcelo’s relationship has not always been smooth. In June 2023, she revealed Marcelo cheated on her and it wasn’t the first time. He was made to sleep on the couch and she removed his dildo penis as punishment.
In February 2023, Marcelinho was kidnapped and held for $200 ransom. He has since been safely reunited with his family and was present at his twin siblings' gender reveal.
