Ashley Beck is now 24 years old and living in Brooklyn, New York. When she was 12 years old, she lived in North Carolina, near a military base where her stepdad was stationed. It was there she claims to have encountered aliens multiple times.
Ashley appeared on the We're All Insane podcast, which is hosted by Devorah Roloff. She shared her experiences. She even mused on why the aliens showed themselves to her.
This all started in 2005. From the moment her family moved there, Ashley had an eerie feeling like she was being watched. She also was not used to so much land.
The first weird incident was a fire. "It wasn't really spreading and we were the only ones with a fence and you would think that it would spread to the fence but nothing spread, it was kind of like contained in that one area," Ashley explained. Her family never could figure out what started the fire or why it didn’t spread, but brushed it off.

Two months later, Ashley got the weird feeling again. She started seeing things from her bedroom window that faced a tree. “I would close my eyes and I would see these two little black figures, almost like children, running from the tree that wasn't cut down through the bushes, over the fence, down the fence, through my backyard and up my house,” she explained.
Ashley went on to say: “I open my eyes before they would get to me and I had like almost like a drone view and I played this game with myself like how many times I can close and open my eyes before they get me, but it came to a time where I just got too tired and I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore so I ended up was falling asleep. But I wouldn't sleep for a good three months.” She never told anyone because she was afraid no one would believe her. The aliens did eventually make it to her room.
The aliens also revealed themselves to Ashley and her best friend Lindsay when they were swimming. The girls witnessed red, green, and blue lights in the sky and got Ashley’s mom. Ashley’s mom saw a red light speed down the road. The three then witnessed a ship in the sky and went into the house for safety.
Ashley’s dad didn’t believe them. Her brother claimed to see a black figure in the house but it was gone before anyone else could see it. Everyone tried to go back to normal and forget the incident.
The last time Ashley and Lindsay saw the aliens was when they went for a run. "It's hazy the sun is setting and we're going up and we come across this like old construction that's always there and all of a sudden it's like a piercing sound in my ear,” Ashley stated. "I'm like, 'what the hell, ow,' it's it hurts so bad. I lose like some of my hearing in my ear at the time. It goes into my ear, into my jaw, and down my neck. [It's] just this excruciating pain.”
Ashley and Lindsay told their parents but they didn’t believe them. They even saw the ship one last time. Ashley eventually moved and she never saw the aliens again.
Ashley believes the aliens wanted her family off their land. They wanted their space. She believes they are out there if you are willing to see them. “I feel like they make themselves known to people that they want to see them,” she mused.
