Woman In Sweats Kneels Down And Grabs 2 Small Dogs By Collar And Puts Them In Her Vehicle

If you’re someone who is a fierce dog lover who continually has fears about your beloved four-legged friend being taken from your yard, this might give you a little bit of hope for some vindication, should that ever happen.

This story posted by Inside Edition shares the video of a Florida dog thief who was caught on a residential camera stealing two dogs from their home. The dognapper was later caught by authorities.

The home security footage shows a woman coming into what appears to be a fenced front yard and bending down to pet one dog before she picks her up in her arms. The other curious canine comes over to see what’s happening and is quickly nabbed. The woman then takes a few steps over to her SUV and drives away with the two small dogs.

This act of dog kidnapping was reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office by the family after the incident occurred.

According to Inside Edition, the family also posted the security footage to Facebook, and someone in their social circle recognized the woman in the video and gave the family her information.

The sheriff’s office followed the tip that led them to the suspect’s home, where they found the two dogs. They also found approximately 20 other dogs in the residence, who were luckily living in a clean and safe environment.

The suspect reportedly told authorities that she works as a dog breeder. She was charged on two counts, including grand theft from a dwelling, and was released on bond.
