Zachary Quinto Banned From Toronto Eatery After Allegedly Acting ‘Like An Entitled Child’

A Toronto restaurant, made some big allegations against Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto. On June 2, 2024, Manita on Ossington Avenue took to its Instagram stories to explain why Zachary is no longer welcome at the eatery. It alleges that he was not very nice to the staff.

The restaurant followed up the next day. It doubled down on its policy to protect its employees from being demeaned by irate customers. It will take criticism but not bad behavior.

The popular brunch spot called Zachary "an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer." The restaurant claims he "yelled at staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for." He also "made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable."

“Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita, but you are NOT one of them,” it concluded. June 2 just happened to be Zachary’s 47th birthday. Perhaps this is why his expectations and emotions were so high.

The following day, Manita offered more insight into the situation. It firmly stated its bottom line. "To all the other Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: We aren’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned," it explained.

At this time, Zachary has not publicly commented on the situation.
