With September fast approaching, many kids are gearing up to go back to school before the fall weather. Parents may feel the relief of not having their kids every day of the week, knowing they'll be at school and in class where they will undoubtedly be busy.
The pressure on moms and dads alike is relieved by the first day of classes!
But with every school year comes new dangers. Now one mom is speaking out after her 12-year-old son experienced the unthinkable. He waited 3 hours for a bus that never came to pick him up to go to school.
Joshua Leguillou was left stranded until his mother, Muriel, came to pick him up. Needless to say, she is furious. Something terrible could have happened to her son!
Joshua wasn't the only one left without a bus to take him to school: Six other children were with him. Little by little, they were picked up by their parents until Joshua called his mother and told her where he was.
Now Muriel and other families want to know that this won't happen again — and their story serves as a warning to other parents that this can easily happen to their children. An issue as small as a broken-down bus can cause delays as significant as three hours, or cause the bus to not show up at all.
