3-Year-Old With Speech Delay Bravely Calls 911 For An Ambulance When His Mom Collapses

Everyone in life has a different person that pops into their head when they think of the word hero.

Whether it's someone you aspire to be that you don't know or someone you have a personal relationship with that you look up to, your definition of hero can only be true to you. And that's a beautiful thing.

However, I believe that everyone can agree that this little boy you're about to see below is a true hero too.

At just 3 years old, Guy knew what to do in a moment when action was necessary. His mom fell to the floor while having a seizure, and he didn't get scared.

He didn't cry, he didn't run, he didn't sit and watch. He called 911. That may not seem like much, but for a 3-year-old, especially a 3-year-old with speech delays? That is a huge accomplishment.

I doubt that when I was 3 I would have been so quick and calm in thinking to call for help. But he did it, and when the operator couldn't understand him, he didn't give up. He stayed on the phone until the operator could make sense of what he was trying to say, and he got an ambulance to his house.

His mom talks about how smart Guy is, and how grateful their family is for him. What would have happened if they didn't adopt this intelligent and adorable little boy?
