How do you feel about your exes? Do you keep in touch and remain friends, or do you need your distance?
Recently, a divorced couple got back in touch after 43 years of not speaking to each other. Not only did they finally reconnect, they're even discussing marriage again at age 75.
Renate Stumpf and Louis Demetriades met in Germany in 1959 and married shortly after that. They had three kids together, but after 12 years of marriage, they eventually divorced.
Apparently their love for each other never fully disappeared. On December 2, 2014, the couple began talking to each other for the first time in 43 years and their romance blossomed anew through phone calls.
Strumpf, who has worked at Walmart for over 25 years, got the surprise of her lifetime recently when George drove 286 miles from Memphis, TN to Fort Smith, AR to surprise her with a marriage proposal!
He notified her friends at the store and, fortunately, cameras were there to capture her hilarious reaction: "No!…Yes, but not today!"
