The Star Wars franchise is very unique for a number of different reasons. One of the things that makes it so different from other movie franchises is something that you can see upon attending any Star Wars movie, event, or convention: The age of the fans ranges from very young to very old.
Whether you are hearing the plot of Star Wars from an adorable 3-year-old or seeing the amazing Star Wars-inspired Christmas light show created by a grown man, there are fans just about everywhere you go.
It’s rare that a movie, which first opened in 1977, appeals to both a younger and older crowd, especially when many of the superfans, like 7-year-old Colin, weren’t even born until nearly 40 years after the initial premier.
Because Colin is a superfan from watching the movies, reading the books, and collecting all things Star Wars, he obviously knows all the little details of each movie…but he came across one in particular that just didn’t seem right.
As someone who considers himself a good-guy Jedi, Colin was horrified to find that Jedis are not allowed to get married. Rather than sit back and accept what he saw as an injustice continue to go on without an objection, Colin decided to combat the problem by reaching out to the source: George Lucas!
The response he gets is out of this world cool, and now Colin can rest assured that getting married one day won't affect his Jedi status!
SHARE if you love Star Wars as much as Colin!
