Having a job that you love going to every day is an amazing feeling.
That's why it's so wonderful to learn about people who've been doing their jobs for many years
Much like our family and relationships, our careers require a lot of time and effort.
And celebrating all the time spent there gives them an excuse to reflect on all that they've done, the hard work that they've accomplished, and the lives that they've helped.
Elisabeth Davis just celebrated her "workaversary" at Culver Academies not that long ago.
But she's spent a little longer at her job than almost anyone else can claim — she's been working there for over 8o years!
The 99-year-old has put in a lot of hours making sure that her job is done perfectly; and she's loved all the time spent among the students and staff!
Check below to learn more about her amazing history.

Elisabeth Davis just recently celebrated her "workaversary" as secretary for Culver Academies, in Indiana.
But it's no small celebration to be sure, because she was celebrating 80 years at the school!
She started working at Culver in 1936 after completing high school.
“I started because a relative of mine was working in admissions under Colonel Henderson and they needed some help,” she explained to ABC.
“I had graduated from high school and didn’t have money enough to go to college.”
And she's been a cherished member of the faculty ever since.
In charge of every single faculty member's personal files, she meticulously keeps track of their achievements with her noticeably beautiful handwriting.
She also has hard copies of everything, taking care to do things the exact way that she was taught. “I realize that you always need one hard copy because you could lose it.”
But she does indulge in one (slightly) more modern invention: her typewriter, which requires specially ordered equipment to keep running!
Though she will likely never switch to more modern means of getting things done, she is still constantly adored by the staff and the students.
And she is particularly grateful for the job and responsibility ever since her husband, Eldon, passed away in 2004.
And at 99 years old, she shows no sign of slowing down — let alone retiring!
“The academy has been good to me and I try the best that I can,” said Davis.
By way of carpooling with a coworker, Davis still looks forward to making her work commute for as long as she is able.
“I’m just blessed with another day to do what I can do…”
