This amazing video is further proof that you don't have to be related by blood in order to be a loving family!
It all started when HGTV stars of My Big Family Renovation, Jen and Brandon Hatmaker wanted to adopt children. They always had the feeling that God wanted them to grow their family through adoption, they already had had three children "the old-fashioned way," and, after nearly two years of going through the painful bureaucracy, traveling, paperwork, referrals, court dates, and delays, they finally got to the moment that they had been dreaming for.
Going through such a vicious fight in order to eventually get a child that doesn't have your blood, and dreaming and preparing and hoping for that child after so many years when the moment of truth finally comes and the two little children are finally ready to be called "yours," is an absolutely magical moment just as important as giving birth in a hospital room. Though this family is biologically different, they share the same love for each other.
The two little children in this video are the newest additions to the Hatmaker tribe; Ben and Remy, originally from Ethiopia, have a lot of learning to do, but with the unconditional love of parents like Jen and Brandon, they'll be able to thrive in the United States.
This amazing video is a first hand example of "love at first sight," and by the time you finish watching it, you'll be in tears!
