For most professional musicians, it takes years and years of practicing every day before they feel that they've mastered their craft. A popular theory of success is that it specifically takes 10,000 hours of practice to achieve mastery.
Then there are the ones who are just born with innate talent. There are just some kids out there who have a natural talent that can't be denied, like seven-year-old singing sensation Angelina Jordan or five-year-old Darby, who rocked America's Got Talent with her innate talent.
The video below also features the talents of a young man who can only be called a "prodigy."
Filmed in 2007 in New York City, this video features the renowned André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra performing at Radio City Music Hall. Though the sold-out audience came to hear the iconic orchestra, it was five-year-0ld Akim Camara who stole the show by playing Mendelssohn's "Dance of the Fairies."
I'm not a big classical music fan by any means, but if I had been there live, I absolutely would have given him a standing ovation, too!

Akim Camara started taking violin classes at age two. Though he could barely form complete sentences, he had a natural instinct for remembering music.
Teachers were absolutely stunned that, in his mere 45-minute lessons, he would adapt and learn at an extremely fast pace. By age three, he was already performing complex classical pieces.
The famed composer, André Rieu, heard of the talented toddler and asked him to perform with him. He was still only three! He became an immediate sensation.
Akim has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years as he continues to study and practice his craft. After being bombarded with requests, he's choosing to pursue the craft itself rather than immediate fame.
