Just a few years ago, if someone told you that 3-D printed limbs would be a thing, you wouldn't believe it, would you?!
However, it's real and it's really happening – many people in the medical field are turning to these more cost efficient and easy to make fake limbs for people with disabilities. In this touching video, 3-year-old Rayden Kahae receives a very special new hand that was printed using 3D technology. The tiny Iron Man fan now has his very own fist of fury!
A prosthetic Iron Man limb would have cost thousands of dollars to make, but the 3-D printed versions usually cost less than $100 and they work the same! I'm so happy this little one can now feel like the superhero he truly is!
