When military moms and dads come home, there's perhaps no one they want to see more than their little ones. The children may not know exactly when they're coming home, but they live for the very moment they get to tell their military mom or dad "I love you" again.
Luckily for many of these kids, their parents come home with the intention of making every homecoming better than the last. This dad surprised his young son at school… and the tearful reunion was caught on camera!
Now, another Army dad wanted to surprise his two sons at school. U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Jerome Ferba knew that his sons would be excited to see their dad no matter what, so why not make his homecoming a complete surprise?
The two boys are seen sitting on the floor with their classmates, listening to their teacher read them a story. But the book's words are striking: The story is about a soldier, so when one of the boys yells out "Daddy!" you would think that the little one confused the story with reality…
Then you see what he sees — a man in uniform, standing at the doorway, ready to greet his children! The boys runs to their dad, who tenderly embraces them. The soldier says this is his first real time home in many years.
