A pregnant woman named Ernilasari expected to welcome a happy, healthy baby boy. She never felt anything unusual during her pregnancy, and doctors never expressed any serious concerns.
In May 2018, Ernilasari delivered baby Gilang in Indonesia via cesarean section. Out came two arms and two legs.
But on his head? Two independently moving faces, each one with a brain of its own.
"We had undergone an ultrasound, and doctors had admitted that there was something strange about the baby as its head was big," his father told Caters News. "He was also in breech position. But we were not told exactly what was the problem."

As it turned out, Gilang is a conjoined twin whose condition is the result of a failed separation of the twins inside the womb. He also has a case of hydrocephalus, a life-threatening condition which causes fluid buildup in his brain.
Doctors are fearing the worst and instructing the infant's parents to seek further and more specialized care. However, they simply don't have enough money — so they've taken him home.
Gilang's family is praying for a miracle. Watch the video from Inside Edition for the full story.
