Mom Discovers Genius Way To Organize Baby Bottles, Then Goes Online To Share Her Idea

Every mom knows the epic struggle of baby bottle organization.

After all, those little bottles are incredibly useful, especially when it comes to soothing fussy babies who just won't quiet down. But they can also turn into a real nuisance.

Not only do you have all the inherent bottle worries — Should I wean her off them? How hot should I make it? — you also have to worry about keeping them clean, tidy, and all in one place.

Without thorough cleaning, baby bottles and sippy cups can easily become a haven for mold and mildew. Plus you want to make sure you always have plenty of clean bottles on hand, in the event of exhaustion, melt-downs, or other baby emergencies.

Fortunately, genius mama Brooke McDaniel is here with a clever solution for tackling baby bottle organization like a pro.

Scroll through to see how she transformed her collection of baby bottles into a Pinterest-worthy masterpiece!

Alongside the photos, Brooke shares a caption explaining her solution.

She writes:

I’ve posted about this in my mommy group but figured I should share with all new moms on my page, save your kitchen. It’s a $12 shower caddy. Best “bottle holder” I could ever have.

All my bottles in one place on my wall, space I wasn't utilizing, instead of having a cabinet with bottles overflowing from it.

We have to admit, her solution looks pretty genius to us!

After all, shower caddies are designed to hold shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles, which aren't too different in size and shape from baby bottles.

A quick glance shows you that Brooke has managed to neatly organize at least two dozen bottles of various shapes and sizes.

After her post went viral, and some commenters started complaining that Brooke had too many bottles, she added a few edits to her original caption.

She explains that she has two children on bottles, which means that they all get plenty of use!

I have two children on bottles and not enough time to wash them 6 times a day. This amount ensures my children will have enough to get through 24 hours with ease.

We think just about every other mom who has had two little ones at the same time should be able to relate.

After all, two kids are able to get through bottles very quickly.

Sometimes, you just need to be able to hand your little one her next meal, and you don't have time to rinse and scrub the last bottle she finished. Mothering is busy work!

Brooke's method ensures that you'll always have a supply at the ready.

Her system is brilliant for a few different reasons.

Essentially, it means that, when you have a chance, you can simply load up your dishwasher with bottles and nipples, then immediately whisk them into the sink-side shower caddy when they're done.

This method also holds true for hand-washing: they simply go straight from the sink to the caddy.

While she shows the caddy fully organized with dry bottles and nipples in place, we also imagine this could work very efficiently as a drying rack.

If you placed the bottle upside down to drain and dry, and laid the nipples out on an ordinary drying rack, you could get them clean, dry, and mildew-free very quickly.

Plus, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a special bottle-drying doohickey from the mom-and-baby store.

In her edit, Brooke also explains that she never expected her idea to get as much attention as it did.

She writes, "I'm not a social media blogging mom, just a normal person with a good idea. This post was only ever intended for my friends."

She goes on to explain that she was taken aback by both the positive and negative responses from people online, and goes on to add an important affirmation that every mother can appreciate:

"…To each one of y'all reading this, if no one told you today- YOU ARE A AWESOME MOM!"
