Babies are the cutest little humans, and this video will prove it. If there's one thing we know about little ones, it's that they love to mimic the people and the world around them. Any idea why they're the masters of imitation?
There's a reason for it. "The young child's ability to imitate the actions of others is an important mechanism for social learning — that is, for acquiring new knowledge," an article in scientific journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society asserts. "The child's ability to imitate is also important for what it tells us about the knowledge that the child already has."
In one video, a family decided to turn the tables and copy everything a baby was doing, and it's the purest form of entertainment ever! "POV: Everyone copies the baby," the caption reads.
The video starts off with the baby holding their hands to their forehead. Everyone at the table also has their hands to their foreheads. The baby then drops their hands to their tummy and everyone follows suit. The copying goes on for an entire minute, with smiles and giggles as this baby catches on that they're in charge!
