Shocked Man Finds Girlfriend Giving Birth In Their Bathroom, But The Baby Is 3 Weeks Early

Life finds a way. It doesn't matter if you're in a McDonald's bathroom or a car dealership bathroom, when babies are ready to be born, they're going to find a way.

Lately, it seems that babies love being born in bathrooms!

In the case of Thomas Dycus and his girlfriend Christine, their baby couldn't even wait until his due date.

Dycus was sleeping one morning at home in early January 2016 when suddenly he was awoken by the screams of his pregnant girlfriend.

She was taking a shower and began screaming Dycus' name.

Instantly, he shot out of bed to see what the commotion was about.

He opened the door of the bathroom and found Christine there in the shower, screaming, in labor.

He was stunned because his baby wasn't due for another three weeks!

The baby was already crowning, so Dycus quickly called 911, and paramedics immediately arrived and rushed both mom and son to the University of Cincinnati Medical center.

Luckily, they are both healthy, as the paramedics got to them just in time.

They named their 7 lbs. 10 oz. baby son Chance, to honor the miraculous circumstances in which the boy was born.

While Chance's early arrival caused some added financial stress to the family, Dycus said, "I'm thankful that everybody is alright, healthy."
