Every little girl dreams of having her fairy tale bedroom. When you're a little kid, it's so nice to have your own space where you can feel cozy, and to snuggle up with a book in the quiet. Being with friends and family is wonderful, but it's also really important to learn how to make your own fun! I remember when I was younger, I picked moons and stars to cover my room, and I hung a bunch of dangling beads and chimes from the top bunk of my bunk bed. It was such a cozy nest, sometimes I never wanted to leave!
For a little girl named Sophia, her dream bedroom is full of flowers and bright colors. She'd have a special shelf for all of her stuffed animals, and a little corner for reading. Unfortunately, her room didn't fit that description at all, with an imposing dark blue cubby and an old bed frame.
For her birthday, though, her parents had a little something up their sleeves. While Sophia was away for the day and night, her dad cleared everything out of her room, leaving it a blank slate to create his daughter's dream room. He set to work building all new, bright furniture, and creating a magical space for Sophia to grow in.
The best part might be the wall decoration. You really have to see it for yourself! Her reaction when she walks into the room is so sweet.
