Being an older sibling can have its challenges. I was the baby of my family, but I know my brother had to put up with a lot more responsibility on his shoulders as the eldest looking after me over the years. And I certainly didn't make it any easier on him! I finally understood how much I put my poor brother through while taking over babysitting responsibilities when each aunt and uncle announced their newest addition to our big brood.
For the big sis in the video below, it's clear she loves her role as caretaker, wishing there were more babies for her to hold than her one little brother. Even on her birthday, she takes time to connect with the small fry, asking him about the card he colored for her and giving him a high five. But it's what's revealed as she opens the rest of the stack that really puts a smile on this sweet girl's face. Emma looks completely stunned as she reads the card and finally informs everyone that there will be another baby in the family. Her excitement is so precious, but her mom reminds her she still has two other cards to open up.
At first, she's confused by the fact that each one is inscribed with an identical baby announcement until it finally clicks: mom is having triplets! Emma takes a moment to soak in all the happiness before asking to feel her mom's stomach. These will definitely be some super-loved kiddos!
