It seems the custody situation between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may never get completely figured out. Brad recently filed a motion with the California Supreme Court to have the custody agreement he shares with Angelina augmented, but a judge denied his attempt.
The agreement the pair currently operate under was put into place in December 2018 and applies to five of their six children: Pax, 17; Zahara, 16; Shiloh, 15; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13.
Brad Pitt's representatives have insisted that it is in the best interest of the children to revise the agreement. They told People, "We will continue to do everything that's legally necessary based on the detailed findings of the independent experts."
Angelina Jolie's legal team appeared to celebrate the move, noting that, "Ms. Jolie is focused on her family and pleased that her children's wellbeing will not be guided by unethical behavior."
They continued, "As reinforced by California's appellate courts, our judiciary prioritizes ethics and children's best interests, and won't tolerate judicial misconduct to reward the interests of a party. Ms. Jolie is glad for the family to now move forward cooperatively."
Brad came under fire after it was revealed that he had a friendship with a judge previously involved in the pair's custody case. The judge had been working as the former couple's private judge until the friendship came to light.
In other family news, Angelina has been making the rounds with five of her six children as she promotes her new film Eternals. She told People that her kids were really excited for her to take the role for a special reason: "What's really moving to me is that they want to see me strong, and so it's less to see me in a film, but they're just happy I will be strong and having fun."
