A child's smile is almost like magic. When you make a child smile, it can fuel all of your happiness for the rest of the day, maybe even the week. Just look at this baby smiling at his dad and try not to melt.
Dominic Orr is 3 years old and loves to smile. He was born with a rare muscular disorder, which means Dominic displays his happiness through raw emotion. The little boy has a fascination with buses and trucks, and his mother noticed this right away. She took him for rides on the bus to make him smile.
Their little family of two, as Stephanie Orr is a single mom, was noticed by their local news at a bus stop, and when that happened, the BC Transit decided to give Dominic a special day. He got to ride the bus — but he didn't just ride it, he got to drive it! Dominic was thrilled, and once the folks at Bear Mountain Golf Resort in Victoria, British Columbia, heard his story, they wanted to join in on the fun.
They worked with Help Fill a Dream Foundation to bring Dominic to the resort where they're currently building and got him behind the wheel of an excavator. You can see in the video below that Dominic was beside himself with happiness over what these wonderful people did for him.
His mother Stephanie felt blessed as well, as not only did they make Dominic's day, they had an additional surprise for her family.
Don't forget to SHARE Dominic and his mother's story with all of your friends and family!
