8-Year-Old Promises To Buy Grandma A House, Then Follows Through When She’s Grown Up

Little kids have big dreams for when they grow up. Most want to give the world to those who have given them theirs.

Janita Badon was one of those kids. At 8 years old, she remembers making a promise to her grandmother, Irma Badon, lovingly called Momo. Irma is the cornerstone of her big, growing family who has touched the lives of each and every member.

As a kid, Janita promised to buy Irma a house of her own one day. It sounded to everyone like a child's imagination gone wild, but for Christmas 2021, Janita made that dream come true.

Janita Badon instructed her family to meet her at the home she had purchased for her grandmother. They were crowded inside as Janita led her there. They all yelled "surprise" as Irma walked in and processed the scene around her.

The front door had a red bow, and Janita explained to her grandmother that the home was hers. Irma looked overjoyed at the realization.

"Christmas was a dream come true…My momo got her house!" Janita said when she shared scenes from the special day on Facebook.

"The most selfless person in this world… I really wish I could give her the world twice."

The 83-year-old is excited to make memories in her new home with her family. They all agree no one is more deserving.
