I've always been amazed by the creativity and thought put in by those who have planned out a surprise proposal.
John’s proposal, although unique and slightly genius, wasn’t all that amazing to me, however. His girlfriend Rachael really stole the show with her shrieks of giddy excitement, which brought this proposal to life. Not only was she thoroughly surprised by his question, but when John gets up to read her a personal poem he’s written for her, Rachael’s reaction is a perfect blend of hilarious and adorable.
While playing an outdoor camping game with friends, John found it most opportune to whisper in Rachael’s ear, during a round of the Telephone Game, four very important words. Four words she really didn’t see coming.
Throughout the entire clip, Rachael is shocked out of her mind and can’t believe what’s happening directly in front of her.
It’s beautiful to hear his kind words said aloud, words that are both honest and true to the friendship they have as a couple.
Proposals as organic and spontaneous as these, serve as great reminders to the very fact that true love still exists.
This surprise proposal was such a treat to watch! From Rachael’s hilarious outbursts to John just trying to get to the end of the poem, this was one of the most entertaining clips I’ve seen in a while.
