Carrie Underwood Joins Children’s Choir For An Unforgettable Moment

When Carrie Underwood took time out of her busy schedule to visit the PS22 choir in 2012, they shared a heartwarming moment that's almost impossible to forget.

The American Idol alum sang her 2007 song "So Small" along with the young students, as the chorus director, Gregg Breinberg, played the piano.

The talented choir from Staten Island didn't miss a beat, as was the case when they sang for their teacher fighting cancer and brought her to tears. Underwood, who leaves crowds speechless with her own performances, was clearly impressed by these talented students.

"I don't even know what to say. You guys do it better than I do it," she told the students after the duet.

The choir also noted their favorite part of the performance, writing on its website, "Our personal favorite moment comes at the conclusion of the second verse, when Kahlil and Kiarah get together for a gorgeous duet on the second verse, and Carrie, obviously lost in the moment, almost forgets to come in on the refrain!"

And the emotions continued even after the performance finished, when one of the students explained why the song means so much to her.
