Life on a farm is full of so many incredible moments and experiences. You learn to take care of others, and how to be compassionate towards everyone, especially to those that depend on you for their health and safety.
Then, there are all of the amazing births that you may get to see while living on a farm.
Imagine waking up one morning to discover that your favorite cow now has an adorable, wobbly little calf. It must be so wonderful!
A child growing up on a farm must have a really different life from a child growing up, well, just about anywhere else! Being around animals for so much of the time really opens up a whole new world.
When this young farmer outgrew one of her childhood toys, she didn't have Mom and Dad stash it away in the basement or leave it out on the corner on garbage night. This resourceful, thoughtful young lady had another idea.
The family had just had a bunch of little chicks hatch, and she thought that they might enjoy a luxurious home to lounge about in. So, she set to work right away with some bedding and tactful placement of bedrooms.
This is too cute. What a lovely gesture for these little birdies, and also such creativity on this young lady's part.
