Christian Movie Star Chris Pratt Walks Into Children’s Hospital And Stuns Little Patients

When it comes to celebrities, most folks tend to have very strong opinions, one way or the other.

But in our book, no celebrity is really worth watching until they do something to make the world better for others!

After all, if you’re wealthy and live in the public eye, you have a duty to give back. That’s why we love celebrities who use their platform for really excellent causes, like Brad Pitt working away, rebuilding homes after Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005.

That’s also why we're such big fans of Chris Pratt, the lovable action star from Guardians of the Galaxy!

Pratt is a big deal these days, showing up in movies left and right and winning over a lot of fans along the way. But this is one star who never forgets to stay humble, and to make sure he uses his star power to help people out.

This past week, he stopped by Seattle Children’s Hospital to bring some megawatt smiles to the children’s ward.

Chris Pratt recently stopped by Seattle Children's Hospital to help bring smiles and cheer to the kids in the hospital.

He even made a point of starting with the hospital's very tiniest patients — a pair of premature twins newborns in the NICU.

Pratt and his wife, Anna Faris, have a little boy named Jack who was born prematurely. They both feel a "special affinity" for babies who came into the world just a little bit early, and need extra care and cuddles to help them along.

Pratt may have been all about showing his soft side with the babies in the NICU, but he also knew exactly how to bring lots of action hero inspiration, too!

According to Pratt's Instagram, this young lady is Madisen, and she's tough as anything in the face of cancer.

He stopped by her room to strike a power pose, perfect for fighting back against all kinds of enemies, even invisible diseases.

Alongside this picture, he added a quote from Proverbs 3:27, "Don't withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it."

Pratt, who first became a household name when he starred in the 2014 superhero blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy and the 2015 reboot Jurassic World, had a long career as lovable goofball Andy on Parks and Recreation before he got his big screen break.

Maybe because his road to stardom came with setbacks, but Pratt has always done an impressive job of staying humble, showing the kids at Seattle Children's that he really cares about them.

Here, he poses for a picture with a boy named Rowan, who went as Groot (a Guardians character) last Halloween!

Under the snap, he added, "You're in my prayers tonight little man."

It's not Pratt's first trip to Seattle Children's either — not by a long shot.

Basically, from the moment he launched into the public eye, Pratt has been making regular trips to children's hospitals all over the country, including plenty of stop-offs in Seattle.

He's been supporting kids in need all along, stopping in Boston Children's Hospital to say hi and drawing smiles out of the kiddos in Los Angeles Children's, among many other hospital visits.

Here, he poses with a little girl named Mackenna, who uses the Make-A-Wish foundation to raise money for fellow kids with illnesses.

A lot of the time, his hospital visits involve bringing the sweet patients plenty of swag from his movies!

Both Guardians and Jurassic World were huge hits with kids of all ages, and he also voiced the lead character in The Lego Movie, another movie that kids everywhere flocked to see.

In other words, he's not just a star with the money and power to help bring attention to children's illnesses, he's also a star that kids actually want to see and hang out with!

It's clear that the kiddos in the hospital can also sense that Pratt is a dad, even the very small ones like this little cutie pie!

Pratt and Faris are parents to 4-year-old Jack, who was born nine weeks premature and weighed just 3 pounds at birth.

Little Jack is now thriving, but that early experience helped to ensure that Pratt's dad instincts are super-sharp, especially when he's helping to cheer up a child in the hospital.

Sometimes, he even brings fellow famous friends to help out!

Last year, Pratt and Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America, went to hang out with some hospitalized kids together, and even brought awesome Marvel Universe toys and gifts for the kids on the ward.

Pratt and Evans will star together in the next installment of The Avengers franchise, so we're hoping to see these two (and maybe even more of their co-stars) bringing smiles and cheer to even more children in the future!

If you love Chris Pratt and everything he does with his star power, make sure to SHARE with fans and fellow loving parents!
