Doctor Tells Mom He Sees 4 Babies, But She Refuses To Believe She’s Having Quads

Corrie and Keith Cook could not believe it. They had just moved to Arizona with their 3-year-old son to live a more affordable life, when they got the news that Corrie was expecting.

The couple went in for a routine ultrasound where it was discovered that Corrie had naturally conceived a set of quadruplets. The mother was so stunned, she thought the doctor must have made a mistake.

“The doctor told us, and I was just laughing,” Corrie said. “I was like, ‘Are you sure you're not seeing two of them twice?’”

When the couple discovered they had to now care for five children, they decided to move back home to New Hampshire where their friends and family live.

"It was a quick decision and an easy decision to make, because our support system and all of our family and friends are in New Hampshire,” Corrie said.

The odds of naturally conceiving quads are 1 in 700,000.

The family is concerned about expenses and transportation, but they ultimately see their miracle babies as a gift.

“I've been trying to work as much as possible while still trying to balance time with the family,” Keith said. “It's a blessing."

The family has started a GoFundMe for others to contribute to the quadruplets' well being.
