It's always interesting when you find out how something works. It could be the most simple thing in the world from the outside perspective, but you just never know what you're going to get on the inside.
Like they say, you should never judge a book by its cover! This age-old saying applies to everything in life.
This is something that father and son duo Daniel and Lincoln Markham know all too well.
Together, the pair takes apart anything from rattlesnake tails to a magic 8 ball to find out what's going on inside.
Their discoveries are awesome and even the process can be super interesting as well! You never know how tough something's exterior is until you try to break through it.
When Daniel and Lincoln decided to find out how thermoses keep drinks so cold, they were in for quite the task.
First, they tested out five different thermoses to see which one works the best under pressure.
And by pressure, I mean which thermos keeps ice water coldest when put inside the oven and left to heat up.
Once the winner was found, it was time to take a look at the insides. But even that proved difficult when Daniel had to pull the saw out just to cut through the exterior!
Who knew a thermos could be so complicated!
