It can be tough watching as other children accomplish goals that your own child might not be able to.
When you're the parent of a special-needs child, this is something that can happen too often.
Without the proper assistance, it can be impossible for children with a disability to reach certain milestones.
And no matter how big or small, these milestones are important in every kid's childhood.
That's why it's so amazing when people, especially other children, go out of their way to make sure that a child is never left behind just because they don't have the same starting point as other kids.
This happens all the time, and it serves as a reminder that there are good people in the world who are simply willing to give credit to someone who doesn't always get the amount of appreciation that they deserve.
For Matt Grugan, watching his son Sammy put on a football jersey was a lifelong dream of his and something that he looked forward to as a father.
And even better than being able to watch Sammy run around in a jersey? Getting to watch his teammates come together and help him score a touchdown.
It's such an incredible moment to see, and Grugan couldn't have been more proud of his little boy.
